Participating Stores Gift Certificate™ Terms of Sale and Conditions of Use Gift Certificate™ Terms of Sale and Conditions of Use Gift Certificates are redeemable via the web site ( and are issued by, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Certificate Group™, a limited liability company domiciled in the State of Virginia.

Once a Gift Certificate has been purchased and sent to the recipient, no modifications may be made to that certificate. Gift Certificates are not transferable.

The "issuance date" shall be the date the Gift Certificate was transmitted to the recipient. For certificates issued after January 1, 2005, there will be no expiration date. These certificates shall remain valid in perpetuity. For certificates issued prior to January 1, 2005, the certificates, including any unused portion thereof, shall expire and become void after one (1) year from the date of issuance, except (a) for purchases made in California, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Massachusetts, in which case this certificate shall not expire; (b) for purchases made in Hawaii, in which case this certificate shall expire and become void two years after issuance, and (c) in any other state where a one-year expiration date is prohibited by law, in which case this certificate shall expire, if allowed, at the earliest time under such applicable law. The state of purchase for gift certificates shall be the state given by the purchaser as his or her home state when providing an address for credit card verification. For all certificates issued through the web site, there are no dormancy fees, and no inactive status fees. Gift Certificates will not be replaced if stolen or redeemed by an unauthorized user, including use as a result of inaccurate or incomplete delivery information provided by the purchaser. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and may not be combined for purchases. The cash value of a Gift Certificate is 1/10 of one cent. Any unused certificate balance will be placed in the recipient's Gift Certificate account and is not refundable in cash to the recipient, except for certificates sold in Massachusetts, which permit the return of cash from the use of a certificate that has been at least 90% redeemed. If a recipient's purchase exceeds the value of the Gift Certificate, the recipient will have to pay the balance due for the purchase with a credit card. Gift Certificates may be redeemed only at participating Member Merchants. The list of participating Member Merchants is subject to change from time to time, without advance notice.

Universal Certificate Group, LLC, and make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to its products or services and are not responsible for any merchandise or services purchased using a Gift Certificate from its Member Merchants. Customers should contact the customer service department of the specific Member Merchant for questions or issues with regard to purchases. Gift Certificates may not be sent to, or redeemed by the same individual who purchased the gift certificate. Any gift certificate sent to or redeemed by the same individual making the purchase will be voided and the corresponding credit card charge will be refunded. Any attempt to circumvent this condition will result in the voiding of the gift certificate in question and the refunding of the corresponding credit card charge. Universal Certificate Group, LLC and reserve the absolute right to void any gift certificate and refund any credit card charge at any time and for any reason.
